The Green Bay Packers running back was limited in practice Friday after missing Thursday's practice with an ankle injury.
The extra day before the home bout with the Kansas City Chiefs is an added benefit for Lacy, who left last week's tilt in the first half.
We won't know his official designation until after Saturday's practice, but it's a positive sign that the running back is able to do any work on Friday.
McCarthy also noted that Davante Adams (ankle) will do individual drills on Friday, after playing through his injury last Sunday. All indications are that the wideout will be on the field Monday night.
Here are some other injury updates from Friday:
- Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford (ribs) will play against the Denver Broncos, a team source told NFL Media's Albert Breer. Stafford was listed as probable by the team Friday. Linebacker DeAndre Levy (hip) is doubtful and tight end Brandon Pettigrew (hamstring) will not play. Defensive end Ezekiel Ansah (back) is probable.
