2023 NFL season, Week 10: Notable injuries, news from Sunday's games

Here are the injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 10 Sunday:

  • Atlanta Falcons quarterback Taylor Heinicke (hamstring) was ruled out against the Cardinals. 
  • Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh says he had no injury updates on offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley (knee) and cornerback Marlon Humphrey (ankle) after Sunday's game versus the Browns. Linebacker Trenton Simpson was ruled out after being evaluated for a concussion.
  • Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt (right finger) did not return to the game versus the Texans.
  • Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, who was in a walking boot after Sunday's game in Baltimore, says he'll "be fine" and ready to play in Week 11. Cornerback Denzel Ward was ruled out with a neck injury versus the Ravens. Safety Juan Thornhill (calf) did not return to the game.
  • Indianapolis Colts defensive lineman Kwity Paye suffered a hamstring injury against the Patriots and did not return.
  • Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Jamal Agnew (shoulder) did not return to the game versus the 49ers.
  • Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Amik Robertson (concussion) has been ruled out against the Jets. 
  • Los Angeles Chargers tight end Gerald Everett (back) did not return versus the Lions. Linebacker Chris Rumph II (foot) was ruled out after suffering a pregame warm-up injury.
  • Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said running back Alexander Mattison suffered a concussion in Sunday's game versus the Saints. Linebacker Jordan Hicks suffered a lower leg contusion, while cornerback Akayleb Evans is dealing with a calf injury, per O'Connell.
  • New England Patriots linebacker Mack Wilson did not return after suffering a head injury against the Colts.
  • New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr was ruled out after he suffered a right shoulder injury and was being evaluated for a concussion versus the Vikings. Cornerback Marshon Lattimore is believed to have suffered an ankle sprain and will have an MRI on Monday to determine the severity, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per sources. Wide receiver Michael Thomas (knee) did not return to the game.
  • New York Giants linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux was ruled out with a concussion versus the Cowboys. Cornerbacks Deonte Banks (ankle) and Cor’Dale Flott (shoulder) did not return.
  • New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who tore his Achilles in Week 1, told NBC's Melissa Stark his goal is to return in mid-December.
  • Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Kwon Alexander suffered a torn Achilles in Sunday's game versus the Packers, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per sources.
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield hit his thumb on a helmet during Sunday's game versus the Titans, per head coach Todd Bowles. The severity of the injury is yet to be determined after Mayfield finished the game, per Bowles.
  • Tennessee Titans linebacker Chance Campbell was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers after suffering an injury during warmups.
  • Washington Commanders fullback Alex Armah (hamstring) and defensive end James Smith-Williams (hamstring) did not return versus the Seahawks.
