What is Player's Choice?
For five straight offseasons, NFL Network has deployed its coveted "Player's Choice" program, whereby current and former NFL players are given the opportunity to curate NFL Network's television programming for a day. In the league's sixth installment of this program, several notable names have joined the initiative.
First up in the series is 2025 Walter Payton Man of The Year Arik Armstead. His "Player's Choice" program will air on May 20 starting at 2 p.m. ET on NFL Network. It is also available to stream on NFL+.
What to expect from Arik Armstead's Player's Choice program:
As the name suggests, the player chooses what to air on NFL Network for the day. Armstead's segment will include an inside look at his Walter Payton Man of The Year achievement, "A Football Life" tribute to his favorite player, Sean Taylor, pre-draft content and performance highlights from some of his favorite games.
As Armstead enters his 11th NFL season, one game stands out as his "favorite" thus far: the 2021 NFC Divisional Round game vs. the Green Bay Packers, in which Armstead tallied two sacks in the 49ers' 13-10 victory. A full replay of this game will be shown on Tuesday.
