Josh Allen's foot issue will cause some discomfort, but shouldn't keep him from participating in a key Week 17 game.
The Bills quarterback is considered day to day, head coach Sean McDermott told reporters on Monday, adding he expects Allen to be available to play this coming Sunday, per The Buffalo News.
Allen suffered the foot injury during the closing moments of the first half of Buffalo's 23-20 win over the Cleveland Browns and underwent X-rays during halftime. He did not miss any game action, returning to help the Bills hang onto the lead in the narrow victory.
Despite defeating New England in their Week 15 rematch, Allen's Bills (11-4) are still looking up at the Patriots (12-3) in the AFC East standings with two weeks to play.
Buffalo hosts another playoff qualifier, the Eagles, on Sunday in the penultimate regular season game in Highmark Stadium's storied history.
