Chargers add Ajirotutu to active roster, place Wilson on IR

SAN DIEGO -- The Chargers have added wide receiver Seyi Ajirotutu to the active roster and placed linebacker Kion Wilson on season-ending injured reserve.

Wilson injured an ankle during Friday's practice and becomes the fifth linebacker on the team's injured reserve list.

Ajirotutu is a rookie from Fresno State who spent the first six weeks of the season on the practice squad. He caught seven passes for 145 yards in the preseason.

The Chargers (2-4) host the New England Patriots (4-1) on Sunday.
