Chargers sign Banks to add depth to ailing receiving unit

SAN DIEGO -- The Chargers signed wide receiver Gary Banks from the practice squad Saturday.

Offensive tackle Adam Terry was released to make room for Banks, who spent 2008 and '09 on the practice squad. He was recently re-signed to the practice squad after he was waived at the end of training camp.

The Chargers (2-5) likely will be without wide receivers Legedu Naanee and Malcom Floyd for their home game Sunday against the Tennessee Titans (5-2). Both players have hamstring injuries.
