Colts waive veteran DT Muir after four games, make other moves

The Indianapolis Colts waived defensive tackle Dan Muir on Tuesday, The Indianapolis Star reported.

Muir spent three seasons with the team but was not re-signed as a free agent in the offseason. He then rejoined the Colts on Oct. 10 and played in four games, starting two.

Also Tuesday, the Colts signed cornerback Morgan Trent, signed tight end Anthony Hill from the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad, promoted tight end Mike McNeill from their practice squad to the active roster, signed quarterback Dan LeFevour to the practice squad, placed offensive guard Seth Olsen on the injured reserve list, and waived defensive back Prince Miller.
