The Oakland Raidersaren't the only team zeroing in on Ndamukong Suh.
With teams officially allowed to begin courting free agents on Saturday, Armando Salguero of The Miami Herald wrote, per multiple sources, that the Dolphins will "definitely be in the Suh chase."Â
The three-time All-Pro is expected to command north of $100 million with upwards of $60 million in guarantees. Salguero was told that the "Dolphins are confident they're going to put a great offer on the table for Suh. They are confident they can get him."
Like the Raiders, the Dolphins and their four-man defensive front offer a scheme fit for Suh, who instantly would take over as the team's three-technique defensive tackle. Pairing the game-plan wrecker alongside Cameron Wake, Randy Starks and Olivier Vernon would give Miami one of the more fearsome fronts in all the AFC.
It's an outrageous amount of money for one player, but Suh looms as one of the juiciest defensive free agents since Reggie White hit the open market in 1993. We all know what that signing did for the Green Bay Packers.
