Dolphins place Jordan Cameron (concussion) on IR

Jordan Cameron's season is likely over.

The Dolphins tight end was placed on injured reserve Saturday. He has not played since suffering a concussion in Week 3, his fourth in four years.

Cameron signed a two-year deal with Miami in 2015, so this setback may mean the end of his time with the Dolphins. Since arriving from the Browns, Cameron has seen his production drop. The tight end caught 43 balls for 446 yards and four TDs in 19 games in Miami.

MarQueis Gray and Dominique Jones should continue to get snaps against the Jets on Sunday.

In corresponding moves, the Dolphins activated linebacker Zach Vigil off of the NFI list and promoted tight end Thomas Duarte from the practice squad to the active roster.
