Just days after the biggest game of the year, the Eagles took to the streets of Philadelphia to celebrate their Super Bowl LIX victory over the Chiefs on Friday.
Thousands of fans lined Broad Street to cheer on their beloved Birds during the Eagles' championship parade, which began at Lincoln Financial Field and ended at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where the iconic Rocky Balboa statue victoriously stands.
There on the famous 72-step corridor, Eagles players, coaches and executives gave heart-felt, passionate and crowd-pumping speeches to a celebrating crowd. Super Bowl LIX MVP Jalen Hurts, who revealed he wouldn't visit the Rocky steps until the Eagles won a championship, summed up the triumph when saying, "The next pursuit begins. Go Birds!"
Of course, it's the second time Philadelphia has hosted a Super Bowl victory parade, the last one happening after the Eagles' triumphant upset of the Patriots in Super Bowl LII, which was the franchise's first capture of the Lombardi Trophy. Including the Philadelphia Phillies' World Series win in 2008, Friday marks just the third time in the last 40 years the City of Brotherly Love has hosted a championship spectacle for a major league sports franchise.
Below is a collection of all the action from Friday's festivities:
