Giants DE Tuck set to play for first time since Week 3

Defensive end Justin Tuck will play for the first time since Week 3 when the New York Giantshost the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

Tuck, who was listed as questionable, had missed three consecutive games with neck and groin injuries.

Running back Brandon Jacobs (knee) also was active after missing the Giants' previous two games. Jacobs was listed as probable on the Friday injury report.

Notable inactives for the Giants are fullback Henry Hynoski and offensive lineman Stacy Andrews. Bear Pascoe will start for Hynoski.

Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas and cornerback Vontae Davis were both deactivated with hamstring injuries, and offensive lineman Richie Incognito also was ruled out. Thomas has battled hamstring problems all season, but he played the past two weeks.

The Dolphins said Nate Garner would start for Incognito, and Tyrone Culver would start at free safety for Reshad Jones. Jimmy Wilson will start for Davis.
