Two of Blake Bortles' playmakers are banged up.
Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Julius Thomas suffered a rib contusion after falling on the ball in Sunday's loss to the Houston Texans. Receiver Allen Robinson also suffered a lower leg contusion, but X-rays were negative. Both players will be updated as we progress through the week.
In just his second game this season, Thomas caught seven passes for 78 yards and his first touchdown as a Jag. His addition to the offense vaults Jacksonville's explosive potential. Thomas missed the first four weeks of the season after undergoing finger surgery.
Robinson, who is becoming a weekly playmaker in Year 2, added six receptions for 86 yards and a score. He has nine-plus targets in five straight games.
Here's the rest of Monday's injury news:
- Broncos wideout Emmanuel Sanders suffered a sprained AC joint, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported. The injury likely came on his attempt at a catch in one of the final plays of regulation against the Browns. It sounds bad, but he may be OK after their upcoming bye, Rapoport added.
- The Patriots found out some good news as it relates to Sunday night's injuries against the Colts. Left tackle Marcus Cannon (toe) and defensive end Jabaal Sheard (ankle) have injuries that can be considered as minor, according to Rapoport, per a source informed of their injuries. Cannon will have an MRI as a precaution.

The team will see how he progresses day to day before ruling on his status for this week. The Titans are optimistic he could play Sunday against the Falcons, Rapoport reported.
- Titans center Brian Schwenke will have surgery on his ankle and is out for the season, according to Rapoport.
