Injury roundup: Panthers WR Diontae Johnson (ribs/hamstring/ankle) expected to play vs. Commanders

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Diontae Johnson (ribs/hamstring/ankle) is expected to play versus the Washington Commanders, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per sources.

The Panthers WR did not participate in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. However, Johnson did turn in a limited session on Friday. He was officially listed as questionable for Week 7.

On Friday's injury report, Carolina added ribs and hamstring injuries to Johnson's designation heading into Sunday's game in Washington.

In six games this season, Johnson leads the team with 29 receptions, 340 yards and three touchdowns.

The Panthers (1-5) and Commanders (4-2) kick off at 4:05 p.m. ET.
