Jaguars' Thomas ruled out of Thursday night game vs. Falcons

Wide receiver Mike Thomas was one of five Jacksonville players ruled out of Thursday night's matchup with the Atlanta Falcons, leaving the Jaguars even more short-handed for their final national television game this season.

Thomas left Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a concussion. He leads the Jaguars with 40 catches for 391 yards, though the third-year pro has scored only once this season.

Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts (hamstring), defensive end Matt Roth (concussion), safety Chris Prosinski (thumb) and cornerback T.J. Heath (shoulder) also will miss Thursday night's game at Atlanta.

Kicker Josh Scobee, who suffered a groin injury Sunday, was listed as questionable.

Falcons running back Michael Turner, who missed practice Tuesday with a nagging groin injury, was limited Wednesday. Turner, who has yet to miss a game this season, officially was listed as probable.
