Lions place Brandon Pettigrew, others on PUP list

Three Lions offensive players will start training camp on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, the team announced Sunday.

Detroit wide receiver Corey Fuller, tight end Brandon Pettigrew and offensive tackle Corey Robinson can be moved onto the active roster at any time during camp, but will begin next week on the sidelines.

Pettigrew tore his ACL in December and it was expected that he would miss the start of training camp. Fuller is recovering from an offseason foot surgery.

One notable absence from the PUP list is running back Ameer Abdullah, who had shoulder surgery in the offseason on the heels of his rookie campaign.
