The difference this time around is that Manningham is fighting for a roster spot.
"There's always competition," Manningham said, per ESPN.com. "This isn't the 1960s. There are going to be wide receivers out there. We're not just going to run the ball the whole game. So I'm just going to do what I've got to do, which is just make plays."
"I'm not worrying about that," Manningham said. "I'm just going out and controlling what I can control. I'll leave it up to the coaching staff to decide."
