NFL begins sensitivity training at camps as teams try to curb hazing

Wednesday's health and safety news from the world of football:

  • The Associated Press reported on the sensitivity training NFL teams are taking during training camp, with the Rams already prepared thanks to the introduction of rookie Michael Sam, the league's first openly gay player.
  • KING-TV featured former New Orleans Saints player Steve Gleason, who has been working with Microsoft to create products for the disabled. Gleason has been suffering from ALS since 2011.
