  • LB Shaq Thompson agreed to terms on a reworked deal to remain with the Panthers, the team announced Saturday. Thompson's new contract is for two years, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per sources.


  • Restricted free-agent TE Juwan Johnson has agreed to a two-year contract extension, the team announced. NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported that Johnson's new deal is worth $12 million with $8.5 million fully guaranteed and has a max value of $14.5 million.
