Notable injuries, news from Sunday's Week 17 games: Raiders' Geno Smith suffers high ankle sprain

Here are the injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 17 Sunday:

  • Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) and safety Kitan Crawford (ankle) did not return against the Bengals.
  • Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen's X-rays on his foot following Sunday's game against the Eagles were negative, head coach Sean McDermott said. Allen was limping at times, but told reporters it did not affect him during the second half. Linebacker Terrel Bernard (calf) was ruled out.
  • Carolina Panthers tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders suffered a broken ankle against the Seahawks, head coach Dave Canales said.
  • Chicago Bears defensive lineman Joe Tryon Shoyinka (concussion) was ruled out in the second half against the Bears. Linebacker Noah Sewell also was ruled out due to an ankle injury.
  • Cleveland Browns tight end Harold Fannin Jr. (groin) and guard Teven Jenkins (concussion) were ruled out against the Steelers.
  • Green Bay Packers cornerback Kamal Hadden (ankle) and defensive lineman Jordon Riley (Achilles) are both out for the season, head coach Matt LaFleur said.
  • Indianapolis Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner (calf) did not return against the Jaguars.
  • Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith suffered a high ankle sprain against the Giants, head coach Pete Carroll said. Smith injured his ankle in the fourth quarter against the Giants and was ruled out shortly after. Guard Dylan Parham (illness) was deemed questionable to play shortly before the game and did not log a snap. Defensive tackle Adam Butler (biceps) was ruled out.
  • Miami Dolphins linebackers Jordyn Brooks (hamstring) and K.J. Britt (groin) did not return against the Buccaneers. Linebacker Chop Robinson (concussion) was ruled out.
  • New Orleans Saints tight end Jack Stoll (knee) was ruled out against the Titans.
  • New York Giants safety Jevon Holland (knee) did not return against the Raiders.
  • New York Jets running back Breece Hall (knee) said his knee is fine and he won't need testing after leaving Sunday's game against the Patriots. Defensive back Qwan'tez Stiggers (knee) did not return. Running back Isaiah Davis (concussion) was ruled out.
  • Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Michael Carter II (personal) was ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Bills.
  • Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Darnell Washington (forearm) suffered a broken arm against the Browns, head coach Mike Tomlin said.
  • San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams (hamstring) was ruled out after playing just one game against the Bears. Cornerback Upton Stout was ruled out after being evaluated for a concussion.
  • Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cody White (groin) did not return against the Panthers. Wide receiver Rashid Shaheed (concussion) was ruled out.
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Jamel Dean (shoulder) did not return against the Dolphins.
  • Tennessee Titans cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis (Achilles) and wide receiver Van Jefferson (forearm) suffered season-ending injuries, interim head coach Mike McCoy said. Linebacker Arden Key (back) did not return.
