Now Pats can go to their two-Gronkowski formation

Once again, two Gronkowskis are better than one for the New England Patriots.

The Patriots have re-signed tight end Dan Gronkowski, the brother of Rob Gronkowski, who also plays tight end for the Patriots, the Boston Herald reported on Tuesday.

Gronkowski takes the roster spot of offensive tackle Thomas Welch, who was cut on Monday.

Dan Gronkowski played two games for New England earlier this season but was released on Sept. 23. He has yet to catch a pass for the Patriots.

Rob Gronkowski has 22 receptions this season for 327 yards and five touchdowns.
