Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa, Eagles RB Saquon Barkley highlight Players of the Week

Who were the NFL's top stars in Week 12? Each Wednesday, the league unveils its weekly honor roll. See who the Players of the Week are below.

AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Tua Tagovailoa
Miami Dolphins · QB

Tagovailoa got the Dolphins back to their high-octane ways in Miami's 34-15 thrashing of the New England Patriots on Sunday. Tagovailoa threw for a season-best four touchdowns, as he completed 29 of 40 passes (72.5%) for 317 yards with no interceptions and a 128.9 rating.

NFC Offensive Player of the Week

Saquon Barkley
Philadelphia Eagles · RB

Barkley's tour de force of a 2024 season continued on Sunday night with a jaw-dropping 302 scrimmage yards in the Eagles' 37-20 victory against the Los Angeles Rams. The bulk of his scrimmage output came with 255 rushing yards on 26 carries. Barkley broke loose for 72- and 70-yard touchdowns in his one-man romp, with his 255 yards standing as single-game bests for his career, the NFL this season, the Eagles franchise and ninth all time in the league -- and it garnered him his fourth Offensive Player of the Week accolade this season.

AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Myles Garrett
Cleveland Browns · DE

Garrett made an emphatic statement as to where he ranks in the pass-rushing hierarchy when he helped the Browns to a snowy 24-19 upset over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night. Garrett posted three sacks, a forced fumble and five tackles.

NFC Defensive Player of the Week

Coby Bryant
Seattle Seahawks · CB

Bryant turned in the biggest play of Sunday's NFC West battle for first place, which was won by his Seahawks, 16-6, over the Arizona Cardinals. Bryant thwarted a Cardinals drive when he picked off a Kyler Murray pass and went 69 yards the other way for a touchdown. Bryant added six tackles as Seattle -- and its defense -- round into first-place form.

AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Wil Lutz
Denver Broncos · K

Lutz had a perfect Sunday for the Broncos, helping them mightily in their 29-19 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. In addition to booting home both of his extra points, Lutz was 5 for 5 on field goals, including two makes from beyond 50 yards.

NFC Special Teams Player of the Week

KaVontae Turpin
Dallas Cowboys · WR

In perhaps the wildest game of the week, Turpin delivered the most dynamic -- and important -- score of a frenzied final few minutes during the Cowboys' 34-26 victory against the Washington Commanders. With the Commanders having cut their deficit to three points, Turpin muffed the ensuing kickoff, gathered himself and the ball before losing the Washington coverage team. Turpin hit a spin move and sprinted for a 99-yard kickoff return score. He had four kick returns on the day, totaling 179 yards. It was the 99-yarder that was of course biggest, as it set up a Brandon Aubrey extra point that stood as the game-winner.
