Streaks

The Broncos have defeated the Raiders eight out of the last 10 times. The Raiders lead the all-time series (including playoffs), 55-40-2.

Keep your eye on ...

Raiders rookie RB Darren McFadden: The No. 4 overall pick has starred in the preseason, gaining 182 yards on 34 carries (5.4 yards per carry). He is behind veteran Justin Fargas on the depth chart, but could see his share of touches.

Javon Walker facing his former team: Walker, who played for the Broncos the last two seasons, will start alongside Ronald Curry for the Raiders. Walker had an injury-plagued 2007 and an up-and-down preseason this year, catching four passes for 60 yards, all in the third preseason game.

Denver's running back situation: The Broncos will rely on a pair of second-year backs. Selvin Young will get the start, but may share carries with Andre Hall, who had a strong preseason.

Did you know?

Since their last playoff appearance in 2002, the Raiders have a 19-61 record ... Oakland has had a different leading passer in each of the last three seasons ... The Broncos have had a different leading rusher in each of the past five seasons ... LB D.J. Williams was second in the NFL with 141 total tackles in 2007.
