Quick Take: Dolphins at Saints

Keep your eye on ...

Ted Ginn: The second-year WR is making a case to become the Dolphins' No. 1 receiver, but it was his 59-yard punt return for a touchdown vs. Kansas City on Saturday that opened everyone's eyes.

Dolphins RB Jalen Parmele: Ricky Williams has been the talk of the Dolphins' backfield this preseason, but if coach Tony Sparano rests his starters in the final preseason game against the Saints, look for Jalen Parmele to get plenty of carries. The rookie RB out of Toledo has only 15 total carries through three games, but he led all rushers with 88 yards and one touchdown on eight carries vs. the Chiefs.

The Saints wide receivers:Marques Colston is unlikely to play as he recovers from a rib injury, but the rest of a talented, yet crowded, wide receiver corps gets a final chance to audition for jobs. David Patten appears to have won the starting job opposite Colston, but the third receiver position has become a hotly contested battle between Robert Meacham, Terrance Copper, Devery Henderson and Lance Moore.

Rookie CB Tracy Porter: The second-rounder from Indiana is getting the start and could cement a prominent role in the secondary with a great outing. His performance also affects the status of veteran Jason David, who has fallen down the depth chart after struggling in the preseason.
