Rams add yet another linebacker in ex-Viking Leber

ST. LOUIS -- The Rams have signed another linebacker, reaching a deal with free agent Ben Leber.

Leber, 32, made 23 starts for the Minnesota Vikings over the last two seasons. In nine seasons with the San Diego Chargers and Vikings, Leber has 24 career sacks and five interceptions.

Middle linebacker James Laurinaitis has led the Rams in tackles in both of his NFL seasons, but the team is trying to upgrade the outside spots.

Leber signed Thursday. He is the third linebacker added by the Rams in free agency, joining Brady Poppinga and Zac Diles.
