Texas WR Isaiah Bond files federal complaint following arrest

University of Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond on Tuesday filed a federal complaint in the U.S. District Court of North Texas, alleging he was a victim of "false allegations and coercion attempt."

Bond on April 10 turned himself in on a sexual assault warrant issued by the Frisco (Texas) Police Department. Bond, 21, was subsequently released after posting bail. He called the claims against him "patently false" in a statement that day.

The complaint filed on Tuesday stated that Bond "engaged in a consensual sexual encounter" and demanded a jury trial and economic damages.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Wednesday that Bond's representation sent an email to all 32 NFL teams stating that Bond is "completely innocent of the allegations levied against him."

The Texas product previously had been widely predicted to be a Day 2 (second or third round) selection in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft.

Bond, who played his freshman and sophomore years at Alabama, is coming off a junior season with Texas in which he recorded 34 receptions for 540 yards and five touchdowns.
