We're completely certain America's uncle is the proud owner of every popularly quoted comedy hit of the 1980s. Manning definitely drops "Caddyshack" dialogue while on the fairway with Jeff Saturday.

"Ferris Bueller's Day Off" certainly qualifies as an '80s comedy classic. Former Indianapolis Colts offensive tackle Ryan Diem recently shared a funny anecdote involving an old audible and the John Hughes movie that sent Matthew Broderick into the stratosphere.

"Every position on the offensive line, all five of us, had a nickname," Diem said Thursday, according to CSN Chicago. "Those nicknames were also audibles for certain plays.

"Because I'm from Chicago, my nickname was Abe Froman, Sausage King of Chicago. We had an audible called 'Sausage.' That meant it was a zone play to my side."

For those unfamiliar with "FBDO," Abe Froman is the name Ferris gives to a snooty maître d' to con his way into a fancy Chicago eatery.

Show me the '80s kid who didn't want to be Ferris Bueller and I will show you a liar.

In the latest edition of the "Around The League Podcast," the guys discuss the 2014 NFL Draft with guru Bucky Brooks.
