The NFL preseason has ended. The regular season is less than a week away from kicking off and that means it's time for teams to cut their rosters down to 53 players before Saturday's deadline.

Dolphins running back Kenyan Drake is sitting out joint practice with the Buccaneers after suffering an injury Tuesday. Drake has been splitting carries with second-year back Kalen Ballage.

With a dearth of healthy options at the safety position, the Buccaneers signed one-time Pro Bowler Darian Stewart on Tuesday, the team announced.
