Notable injuries, news from Sunday's Week 18 games: Jordan Love (elbow), Christian Watson (knee) exit Packers' loss

Here are the injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 18 Sunday:

  • Arizona Cardinals cornerback Max Melton (wrist) was ruled out versus the 49ers. Cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting was disqualified after a fight with the 49ers' Jauan Jennings in the second quarter.
  • Atlanta Falcons cornerback Mike Hughes (shoulder) did not return versus the Panthers.
  • Carolina Panthers defensive lineman A'Shawn Robinson (calf) was ruled out versus the Falcons. Cornerback Akayleb Evans (ribs) was ruled out.
  • Chicago Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson (quad) did not return versus the Packers.
  • Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold (foot) did not return versus the Vikings. After the game, head coach Dan Campbell said X-rays were negative and the team would know more on Monday.
  • Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (knee) was ruled out versus the Bears. Quarterback Jordan Love (right elbow) did not return. Packers coach Matt LaFleur said after the game that Love could have returned after exiting in the first half but was held out as a precaution.
  • Houston Texans wide receiver John Metchie III was evaluated for a concussion and did not return versus the Titans. Linebacker Jake Hansen (ankle) ruled out.
  • Indianapolis Colts cornerback Julius Brents (groin) did not return versus the Jaguars. Offensive tackle Matt Goncalves (concussion) was ruled out.
  • Jacksonville Jaguars safety Andre Cisco (groin) was ruled out versus the Colts.
  • Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Chamarri Conner (shoulder) was ruled out versus the Broncos.
  • Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Darnay Holmes (groin) did not return versus the Chargers.
  • Los Angeles Chargers offensive lineman Trey Pipkins (oblique) did not return versus the Raiders. Cornerback Kristian Fulton (illness) did not return.
  • Los Angeles Rams running back Blake Corum suffered a broken forearm against the Seahawks, head coach Sean McVay told reporters. Tight end Hunter Long (knee) did not return.
  • Miami Dolphins owner Stephen M. Ross announced in a statement he would be retaining head coach Mike McDaniel and general manager Chris Grier. The Dolphins finished the season at 8-9, their first year finishing below .500 and outside of the playoffs since McDaniel's arrival.
  • New England Patriots safety Marte Mapu (neck) was ruled out versus the Bills. Wide receiver Kayshon Boutte (head) did not return.
  • New Orleans Saints safety Tyrann Mathieu (concussion) was ruled out versus the Buccaneers. Tight end Foster Moreau was carted off at the end of the game and has a knee injury, interim head coach Darren Rizzi told reporters.
  • New York Giants linebacker Ty Summers (stinger) was ruled out versus the Eagles.
  • New York Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams (hamstring) did not return versus the Dolphins. Offensive tackle Carter Warren (ankle) did not return.
  • San Francisco 49ers running back Isaac Guerendo (knee/ankle) was ruled out versus the Cardinals. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said it was likely an MCL injury and they'd know more Monday. Wide receiver Jauan Jennings was disqualified after a fight with the Cardinals' Sean Murphy-Bunting in the second quarter. Safeties Malik Mustapha (knee) and Talanoa Hufanga (concussion) were ruled out. Wide receiver Chris Conley (elbow) did not return.
  • Seattle Seahawks cornerback Riq Woolen (rib) did not return versus the Rams. Defensive tackle Byron Murphy II (back) was ruled out. Cornerback Tre Brown (knee) was ruled out. Head coach Mike Macdonald told reporters that QB Geno Smith suffered a hip injury at the end of the game.
  • Tennessee Titans tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo (abdomen) did not return versus the Texans.
