Seahawks sign Wyms
Former Buccaners veteran defensive end Ellis Wyms agreed to terms Sunday with the Seattle Seahawks -- meaning that Wyms now will go against his former Tampa Bay team in week 1 and possibly provide some insight to his new team on the way his former team ran its offense. Wyms played 13 games for the Buccaneers last year and recorded five sacks.

Raiders release third-round pick, Moses
Last season's worst team in the league, the Oakland Raiders, had three players claimed on waivers Sunday. The most notable was this year's third-round pick, defensive end Quentin Moses, whom the Arizona Cardinals picked up. Former Raiders guard Kevin Boothe, who started 14 games for Oakland as a rookie, has been claimed by the the New York Giants. And safety Eric Frampton, the Raiders' fifth-round pick out of Washington State, has been claimed by the Lions. It looks like the Raiders could have more players claimed than the world-champion Indianapolis Colts, which would be an oddity in the NFL's roster machinations.
