Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is active for Saturday's key matchup against the Denver Broncos.
Higgins, who was questionable to play, had been listed as a limited participant in practice this week leading up to the game, with knee and ankle injuries. He missed part of Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns but returned to action late in the 24-6 victory.
The Bengals are 6-4 when Higgins has played this season, and 1-4 when he hasn't. He previously missed the first two games of the season with a hamstring injury and a three-game stretch in Weeks 8-10 with a quad injury.
Despite missing time this season, Higgins has had better production in his 10 games this season than he did in 12 games in 2023, when he dealt with recurring hamstring injuries. Higgins has caught 58 passes for 727 yards (12.5 avg.) and seven touchdowns. He has four TD receptions in his past five games.
The 7-8 Bengals are in desperation mode as far as the playoffs go, currently holding less than a 10% chance to make it. The 9-6 Broncos currently sit in the final wild-card playoff spot heading into Saturday's game.
In his one career game versus Denver, Higgins caught two passes (on three targets) for 23 yards back in Week 15 of the 2021 season.
