Center Chris Myers visiting with Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks continue to search for a replacement for center Max Unger.

Chris Myers will visit Seattle on Monday, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported.

Myers is a two-time Pro Bowl center who spent the past seven seasons with the Houston Texans after three years with the Denver Broncos. The Texans cut Myers earlier this month.

The 33-year-old has started 144 consecutive games over eight seasons and is best suited in a zone-blocking scheme. A good run blocker, Myers ranked as Pro Football Focus' No. 16 overall center in 2014 -- third-rated in run blocking.

Seattle traded Unger in the blockbuster deal to land Jimmy Graham. The Seahawks have also been connected to Stefen Wisniewski and Dan Connolly as potential replacements.
