- Despite finishing the 2024 season tied for the worst overall record, the Giants enter the 2025 campaign with the hardest strength of schedule in the league. For context, the two other three-win teams from last season, the Browns and Titans, rank 13th and 29th in SOS, respectively.

What You Need To Know
1) Not quite the four-headed monster in Cleveland, the Giants' quarterback quartet will still be an oddity to watch this summer. Tommy DeVito is the lone returning signal-caller from 2024 but is slated to be QB4, if that, by season's beginning. New York imported two charismatic leaders in Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, with the former expected to take starting reps throughout the summer. The Giants also added rookie Jaxson Dart, trading back into the first round to get Brian Daboll's Guy. There are too many cooks in the kitchen in East Rutherford, New Jersey, but the recipe for success is there: Wilson and Winston show Dart how it's done, displaying different ways to lead and play in the NFL. DeVito downloads his knowledge of Daboll's system to the new trio. Dart makes incremental progress and eventually takes over for Wilson midway through a grueling regular season. Will someone or something unexpected (a trade?) spice up the narrative this summer?
2) Dart's shock selection diverted the excitement around the Giants' first first-rounder, No. 3 overall pick Abdul Carter. But the Penn State product will take center stage this summer as part of a fearsome foursome up front, pairing with fellow pass rushers Brian Burns and Kayvon Thibodeaux and star interior lineman Dexter Lawrence. Carter's addition gives the Giants their best pressure pack since the NASCAR units drove New York to two Super Bowl titles in the Eli Manning era. Against an offensive line looking to re-establish itself, the pass rush should get a lot of opportunities this summer to show off and cause havoc in the Giants' QB quarrel, during joint practices and maybe even in some preseason games.
3) The culture change on New York's offense will trickle down from the revamped QB room, but what to make of the rest of the Giants' attack? Aside from star '24 rookies Malik Nabers and Tyrone Tracy Jr., the cupboard is pretty bare at the skill positions. Wan'Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton and Zach Pascal help fill out the WR corps, with a number of jobs up for grabs. Cam Skattebo is an exciting (or at least name-brand) addition at RB, but how big a factor will the rookie play this summer and fall? The tight end corps is anonymous. The offensive line returns its starting five from last year but could be in flux with former starting tackle Evan Neal moving inside to guard and Andrew Thomas returning from a season-ending injury. With Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen's job on the line again this season, N.Y. needs this offense to be running at full speed out of the gate. A summer addition at WR could be in the offing. Regardless, expect a lot of moving and shaking before Week 1.
