Injury roundup: Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett (thigh) expected to play vs. Broncos

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett (thigh) is expected to play versus the Denver Broncos, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source. Lockett has since been declared active.

Lockett, who led the team with 122 targets and 79 receptions in 2023, was a limited participant in practice to begin the week. He turned into a full participant in Friday's practice, earning the questionable injury designation heading into Sunday's season opener.

Tight end Pharaoh Brown and linebacker Uchenna Nwosu were ruled out for Week 1.

Seattle will have a new head coach on the sideline with Mike Macdonald taking over for Pete Carroll. Lockett is expected to suit up and play in front of The 12s against Denver.

The Broncos and Seahawks kick off at 4:05 p.m. ET.
