NFL Honors: Finalists announced for MVP, other awards from 2024 season

Finalists for eight of The Associated Press' 2024 NFL awards, including the five players in contention for MVP, were revealed on Thursday.

Finalists were determined through the The AP's voting system, which was revamped in 2022 and asks voters to rank their top five picks for MVP and the top three for other awards. The winners will be announced at the 14th annual NFL Honors ceremony on Feb. 6, which will air live at 9 p.m. ET on FOX and NFL Network and stream on NFL+.

  • Ben Johnson, Detroit Lions OC

NFL Honors, hosted by Snoop Dogg, will also feature the announcement of the prestigious Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year presented by Nationwide and the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

On Thursday, Feb. 6, NFL Honors Red Carpet Show presented by Invisalign airs at 8 p.m. ET on NFL Network leading up to NFL Honors. Local blackout restrictions may apply.
