  • The Bears have promoted Jeff King to assistant general manager, a title previously held by new Falcons GM Ian Cunningham, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported. The team has since announced the news. King played seven NFL seasons as a tight end and has been in Chicago's personnel department for over a decade, starting as an intern.
