Pack won't have Bulaga; Falcons might be without Abraham

Green Bay Packers right tackle Bryan Bulaga will not play Sunday at Atlanta, marking the second consecutive game he'll miss because of a knee injury.

Bulaga has been sidelined since suffering a sprain and bruise of his left knee during last week's win at Chicago. Marshall Newhouse again will start in Bulaga's place against the Falcons.

"Bryan wants to play," Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Friday. "He feels he's ready to go, and Pat (McKenzie, the team doctor) is concerned. Until that comes together, Bryan will not be on the field. I think Bryan definitely has a chance next week."

The Packers also ruled out defensive end Mike Neal (knee) and linebacker Frank Zombo (shoulder). Running back Ryan Grant (kidney), wide receiver Donald Driver (shin), linebacker Clay Matthews (quadricep) and cornerback Charles Woodson (foot, knee) all were listed as probable.

Woodson, who turned 35 Friday, is being held to only one day of practice each week because of recurring foot and knee soreness. Woodson had limited work in Friday's practice, as did Driver.

Matthews hasn't practiced all week because of his injury.

"Clay Matthews' medical situation is based on the treatment that he's received earlier in the week," McCarthy said. "With the treatment, it's best that he does not practice."

Defensive end John Abraham showed up on the Falcons' injury report Friday for the first time this week, listed as questionable with a hip ailment after being limited in practice. The Falcons also listed defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux (knee) as questionable and ruled out starting center Todd McClure, who missed practice all week after suffering a knee injury last week against the Seattle Seahawks.
