Rams elevate LB Johnson from practice squad

The Rams signed linebacker Curtis Johnson off their practice squad, the *St. Louis Post-Dispatch* reported Wednesday.

The Rams had an open roster spot after releasing running back Chauncey Washington.

Johnson has appeared in 10 NFL games during the past two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and Indianapolis Colts.

Defensive back Antoine Thompson, who was among the Rams' final cuts, was signed to the practice squad.
