Tuesday's NFL injury and roster news for Week 8

Antonio Brown is officially on the Buccaneers.

The embattled wide receiver signed his contract Tuesday morning, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported. As expected, it's full of incentives.

The one-year deal includes $750,000 in prorated base salary and a max worth of $2.5 million, Pelissero added. The latter would necessitate Tampa Bay winning the Super Bowl and the 32-year-old Brown approaching the per-game production of his peak while appearing in every game from Week 9 on. The pact was initially agreed upon last week, after Tom Brady campaigned for months to bring A.B. aboard.

Brown, who remains suspended for multiple violations of the NFL's personal-conduct policy, is eligible to debut on Nov. 8 when the Bucs host the Saints. The former All-Pro has not played since a one-game stint with the Patriots last September.

Here's other news, injuries and transactions we're tracking on Tuesday:

• The Carolina Panthers designated Christian McCaffrey to return from injured reserve. After missing the past five games with a high-ankle sprain, the All-Pro running back is considered a long shot to play Thursday against the Falcons, per NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. Panthers coach Matt Rhule said Tuesday he remains hopeful after McCaffrey looked like he was "moving around great" in practice. "We will let the medical people and him determine when he can go out and play in a game," Rhule told reporters. McCaffrey won't get an injury designation since he just started his 21-day window in which he must return to action. Carolina announced it has released cornerback Eli Apple, who signed a one-year deal in the spring. Injuries have limited the 2016 first-round pick to just two games this year.
• The Washington Football Team placed safety Landon Collins on injured reserve with a torn Achilles. Free-agent safety Eric Reid declined an offer to join the WFT's practice squad, per Pelissero, as initially reported by the Associated Press. The seven-year veteran and former Pro Bowler was released by the Panthers in March and has not been with a team since.
• The Cleveland Browns placed wide receiver Odell Beckham, who will miss the remainder of the season after tearing his ACL in Week 7, on injured reserve.
• The Indianapolis Colts signed cornerback Will Sunderland to their practice squad and released linebacker Najee Goode from it.
• The San Francisco 49ers announced they have acquired Jordan Willis and a 2021 seventh-round draft pick from the New York Jets in exchange for a 2022 sixth-rounder.
• The Cincinnati Bengals signed defensive tackle Kahlil McKenzie and cornerback Jalen Davis to their practice squad.
• The Los Angeles Rams released kicker Sam Sloman. With Kai Forbath the lone kicker on the roster, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported the team is signing Austin MacGinnis to its practice squad. Formerly of the Alliance of American Football and the XFL, MacGinnis spent training camp with the Rams before being cut in September after losing out to Sloman. In a press conference Tuesday, L.A. coach Sean McVay announced that rookie safety Terrell Burgess, a third-round pick, broke his ankle in Monday's win over the Bears and will miss the remainder of the season.

• The Baltimore Ravens signed former Pro Bowl wide receiver Dez Bryant, who's been out of the league since 2018. The Ravens also released defensive back Marcus Gilchrist from their practice squad.
• The Tennessee Titans promoted linebacker Daren Bates and offensive lineman David Quessenberry to the 53-man roster and signed linebacker Will Compton and offensive tackle Paul Adams to their practice squad.
• The New York Giants promoted linebacker Trent Harris to the active roster and brought back wide receiver Corey Coleman to their practice squad. The former first-rounder was with the team in training camp after missing all of 2019 with a torn ACL.
• The Arizona Cardinals placed defensive lineman Zach Allen and linebacker Isaiah Irving on IR. They also released tight end Evan Baylis from the active roster, and tight end Justin Johnson and wide receiver Andre Patton from their practice squad.
• The Minnesota Vikings released center Brett Jones from the active roster and linebacker Cale Garrett from the practice squad. They also signed cornerback Marcus Sayles.
• The Bills activated guard Jon Feliciano (pectoral) from IR. He started 16 games for Buffalo in 2019. The team also promoted linebacker Andre Smith to the 53-man roster and released linebacker Deon Lacey.
• The Las Vegas Raiders signed defensive back Kemah Siverand and linebacker James Onwualu to their practice squad and placed wide receiver Robert Davis and defensive back D.J. White on the practice squad injured list.
• The Houston Texans signed running back C.J. Prosise to their practice squad and released tight end Troy Fumagalli.
• The San Francisco 49ers announced they have reached an injury settlement with wide receiver Tavon Austin and he is no longer on their IR list. They also signed offensive lineman Tony Bergstrom and defensive lineman Willie Henry to their practice squad and released cornerback Brian Allen, offensive lineman Cody Conway and defensive lineman Adam Shuler from it.
• Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones (hip), wide receiver Russell Gage (knee), center Alex Mack (knee) and offensive tackle Kaleb McGary (elbow) were limited in practice Tuesday. Defensive end Takkarist McKinley (groin) did not participate.
• The Dallas Cowboys are trading defensive end Everson Griffen to the Detroit Lions in exchange for a conditional sixth-rounder.
