Bears' Forte available after considering sitting out over contract

CHICAGO -- Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte was available for Saturday's preseason opener against the Buffalo Bills after he considered holding out.

Forte, who wants a new contract, considered missing the start of training camp and mulled sitting out against the Bills. The Bears held out defensive tackle Anthony Adams because of a left calf injury.

Bills receiver and punt returner Roscoe Parrish was not in uniform because of a left leg injury.
