VISITS

  • S Jordan Whitehead had a visit Wednesday, NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported, per a source. Whitehead, who was injured in a car crash in January, recently received full medical clearance.

INJURIES

  • WR Zay Flowers missed Wednesday's practice with what head coach John Harbaugh called a "camp-type" thing and expects Flowers back in a "few days."
  • TE Isaiah Likely will have surgery this week to fix a broken bone in his foot, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Wednesday, per sources. The belief is he’s out about six weeks, though depending on the outcome it could be fewer.

  • CB Maxwell Hairston suffered an LCL sprain in Tuesday's practice and is expected to miss at least three weeks, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported. After Hairston left practice with a knee injury, tests revealed that his ACL was intact, per Rapoport and Garafolo. Hairston was taken by Buffalo with the No. 30 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

  • WR Hunter Renfrow tweaked his hamstring during practice, coach Dave Canales told reporters.

  • RB Zack Moss was released. The 27-year-old veteran was previously placed on the team's non-football injury list on July 22. Moss played in eight games for Cincinnati in 2024, totaling 429 yards and three scores on 97 touches.


HOLDOUTS

  • DE Trey Hendrickson was present at Bengals training camp on Wednesday, ending his holdout. Hendrickson was placed on the reserve/did not report list on July 23. NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported Tuesday that Hendrickson planned to report to camp on Wednesday. Hendrickson and the Bengals have no agreement in place on a contract extension, but he intended to show up as the parties work toward ending the stalemate.

  • C Seth McLaughlin passed a physical and is cleared to practice. He will be activated from the non-football injury list.

  • CB Martin Emerson suffered a torn Achilles in Tuesday's practice, an MRI confirmed, per coach Kevin Stefanski. Emerson will undergo surgery and miss the 2025 season. The Browns officially placed him on injured reserve. Emerson was carted off on Tuesday with what was believed to be a significant Achilles injury, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported. Emerson has started 33 of 50 games played for Cleveland since being taken in the third round of the 2022 draft. The CB started 15 games in 2024, logging 80 tackles and five passes defensed.

  • OT Nathan Thomas will be working with the first team at left tackle in place of the injured Tyler Guyton, head coach Brian Schottenheimer told reporters. Asim Richards will also get work at LT, per Schottenheimer. Guyton is expected to miss four to six weeks with a bone fracture.

  • CB Kader Kohou (knee) will be placed on injured reserve, ending his 2025 season, coach Mike McDaniel said on Wednesday. Kohou suffered the knee injury in Saturday's practice. A UDFA out of Texas A&M-Commerce, Kohou has started 38 of 47 games played for Miami since 2022, logging 180 tackles, 28 passes defensed and three interceptions in those appearances. Kohou was slated to be Miami's starting nickelback. Since Kohou's injury, the Dolphins have added Mike Hilton and Jack Jones.
  • S Ashtyn Davis will miss time after suffering a non-contact leg injury but is not out for the season, McDaniel said. Davis left Tuesday's practice with an apparent injury and was later seen on crutches and in a walking boot.

  • The late Jim Marshall, who died in June at the age of 87, will be honored throughout the 2025 season with the team donning a helmet decal in his memory, Vikings owner/president Mark Wilf announced.
