NFL.com analysts provide one bold prediction for Wild Card Weekend, from fantasy forecasts to team-based takes.
Chargers turn Drake Maye into turnover machine.
Los Angeles' defense has been a definite strength this season, especially in the takeaways department. The Bolts snagged 19 interceptions in the regular season, ranking third in the league. That unit creates a ton of chaos once again by picking off Drake Maye three times -- returning one for a score.
Caleb Williams channels Jim Harbaugh in awesome display against Green Bay.
Chicago's offense has scored a touchdown just three times on its first drive this season, but the Bears hit the ground running on Saturday night. Caleb Williams provides his best performance yet in his playoff debut, throwing four touchdown passes on his first four drives to lead Chicago over Green Bay. The win makes Williams the first Bears QB to defeat the rival Packers multiple times in a season since Jim Harbaugh in 1991.
Veteran Bills receiver goes for 100 yards and a touchdown.
Brandin Cooks enjoyed his best game as a Bill with 101 yards on four catches two weeks ago, and then Buffalo held him out in Week 18, showing his importance. The 12th-year pro is in position for an encore performance on Sunday, taking on a Jaguars defense that has excelled against the run and slot receivers but struggled against perimeter wideouts, especially downfield. Cooks catches a couple long ones, producing 100-plus yards and a TD.
Bryce Young has more passing yards than Matthew Stafford.
The Panthers beating the Rams could be the most shocking outcome of the weekend. But if things go as many expect, the game script could lead to some eye-opening stats. Look for Los Angeles to run the ball heavily against Carolina’s weak front. That should put Bryce Young in a pass-heavy situation. Don’t be too surprised if it’s the Panthers’ QB -- not the Rams' MVP candidate -- who has the more prolific day through the air in this one.
C.J. Stroud rushes for a pair of scores for the first time in his career.
C.J. Stroud hasn't run the rock much this season. During the regular season, he rushed for 209 yards and one touchdown -- though that score did just come in this past Sunday's game. This Sunday, going against a Steelers defense that has allowed just 10 rushing touchdowns (third-fewest in the league), Stroud finds the end zone twice with his legs.
