Ron Brace waived by New England Patriots

The New England Patriots waived former second-round pick Ron Brace on Saturday and promoted two players to the 53-man roster, the team announced on its website.

The reserve defensive end appeared in 10 games this season, recording four tackles.

The Patriots promoted wide receiver Kamar Aiken and defensive back Malcolm Williams from the practice squad. The team also activated defensive end Jermaine Cunningham, who has completed a four-game suspension by the NFL for testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs.
