  • DT Bilal Nichols (neck) isn't ready to begin practicing yet, head coach Jonathan Gannon said. Nichols was placed on the physically unable to perform list.
  • DT Walter Nolen, the No. 16 overall pick in the 2025 draft, is expected to miss most, if not all of training camp after suffering a calf injury, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Nolen was placed on the PUP list.

  • RB James Cook participated in practice as the Bills opened training camp on Wednesday, coach Sean McDermott told reporters. Cook reported to camp on Tuesday despite seeking a contract extension.

  • Head coach Zac Taylor told reporters Wednesday that he anticipates QB Joe Burrow playing more in preseason games “than we ever have” as they prepare for Week 1, per ESPN's Ben Baby. The Bengals are looking to overcome a string of slow starts in 2025 having have lost their first two games in each of the last three seasons.
  • Taylor said he had a sense DE Trey Hendrickson would not arrive for training camp without a new contract. The club officially placed Hendrickson on the reserve/did not report list Wednesday.

  • LB Kyzir White visited the Lions, per the league transaction wire. White, seven-year veteran, started all 17 games last season for the Cardinals.

  • Bo Melton is making the switch from WR to CB, GM Brian Gutekunst announced Wednesday. Melton, who tallied 24 receptions for 309 yards and a touchdown in two seasons, is also switching to No. 16, the same digit as his brother Max Melton, who is a CB for the Cardinals.

  • Head coach Liam Coen told reporters that there is a plan in place for WR/CB Travis Hunter practicing with both the offense and defense. "We’ll probably have give him a couple days offense and a couple days defense, and then give him an opportunity to go flip flop within the same practice," Coen said. "Then, that will kind of become the norm.” Coen added that Hunter's whole camp is mapped out. "Every moment, every minute, he is accounted for," Coen said. "Trying to make sure we maximize his time, our time, so that we ultimately get the best outcome."

  • OL Bayron Matos was airlifted to a local hospital after suffering an injury at the end of practice, NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe reported. The Dolphins say Matos is in stable condition.
  • CB Artie Burns is feared to have suffered a torn ACL during Wednesday's practice and he'll have an MRI to confirm, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Burns, who signed in free agency in the offseason, was spotted on crutches after practice, per Wolfe.

  • WR Stefon Diggs (knee) was a full participant in practice and told reporters he's feeling no limitations from the ACL tear he suffered last October.

  • WR Malik Nabers was a full participant in practice on Wednesday after being limited in spring work with a toe injury. Nabers told reporters that his toe felt good and there's a plan to manage the injury. He added that offseason surgery was discussed.
  • OT Andrew Thomas, who was placed on the physically unable to perform list with a foot injury, is expected to be ready for Week 1, GM Joe Schoen told reporters.

"We're going to start him regardless," Tomlin said, via ESPN's Brooke Pryor. "Where we move him depends on the offense." Tomlin added that he expects Joey Porter Jr., Darius Slay and Ramsey to all play at the same time. "They're coverage people," he said. "Describe them however you wish to describe them."
